iMEGA Chairman Joe Brennan Jr. is always a busy guy — whether keeping up the battle against the Kentucky authorities still trying to seize 141 international online poker domain names, or offering political support to lawmakers looking to regulate online gambling, iMEGA is often at the forefront of online gaming issues in the United States.
And with all the media attention that issue’s been getting over the past year or so, that’s making Brennan a more in-demand speaker than ever before.
Fresh off his exclusive webcast at iGaming Business, it’s now being announced that Brennan will speak at next week’s ICE Totally Gaming expo in London.
Brennan will be joined by Bill Pascrell III, Partner at the Princeton Public Affairs Group, for a question and answer session on the topic of the impending regulation of online gambling in New Jersey.
“The two men have been vocal supporters (and lobbyists on behalf) of New Jersey’s Intra-State Internet Gambling bill that now sits on the desk of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie,” organizers commented. “The bill will be signed into law or vetoed within the permitted 45-day period from its approval from the NJ Senate.”
“The possibility of a regulated iGaming market in the US within the coming weeks has buoyed the industry as we enter the New Year and has filled all involved with fresh enthusiasm for the longer-term viability of US gaming,” said iGaming Business and Bluff Europe magazine Editor-in-Chief Michael Caselli, who will be moderating.
“The session at ICE will provide a fascinating insight into the components at work behind the passage of this bill, and the likelihood of its passage into law. Both Joe and Bill have been immense in their support of legalised iGaming in the state of New Jersey and it will be of great interest to gauge their perspectives.”
