[via Eurogamer] Microsoft says the next-generation Xbox360 will ship in Europe on December 2nd, ten days after it ships in the US and eight days before it hits shelves in Japan. If they actually manage to launch on three continents in 18 days, it’ll be mighty impressive. The original Xbox, for instance, had a four-month gap between its US launch and its EU launch. The PS2 took nearly nine months to make its way from Japan to the US to Europe — as did the PSP. A near-simultaneous global launch of the 360, then, would be something to behold.
