When will it be fixed so we can turn on our windows vista security and use your program?

We’re in the process of developing a completely new version of StatsRemote which will use SUN Java instead of MS Java. This version will run whether user account control is switched on or off. The release is planned for late this year.

Are you referring to OS on home computer or the server OS where we host our websites?

PS – Java can be compiled to run on any OS.

Home computer.. you will easily see this if you look at the poll results. At least I can’t imagine that so many people have Windows web servers.

i got personal security turned off for now and statsremote works fine. but my general opinion of vista is that it is utter bullocks!

the amount of bugs there is just unbelievable. everything crashes once in a while. even adobe reader….go figure.

i’ld love to setup XP instead, but its a new laptop, and HP in conjunction with Microsoft have setup the BIOS is such a way that you cannot install XP, unless you go really technical. Couldn’t believe this shit, but that is a typical Microsoft stunt… :flush:

I wouldn’t mind seeing that stats remote tool as a cell phone app. I actually considered creating my own but it takes too much time.

We will first release a version for Mac and Linux… mobile devices will be next, hopefully early next year.
