What Design Software Does Everyone Use?

Roger_332 asked 4 years ago
I’m still learning web design and would like to know which editors and design programs you find the best?

I’m currently using Sitespinner for my web pages and Paint shop pro for the graphics. I like both programs but would like to test out a few more.

I recently have tried Mambo which is a content mangament software and it seems to have a steep learning curve for me but would be a very powerful program if I put the time in to learning about it’s features. If anyone uses this could you tell me if it’s worth learning and where I can get some good free templates?

thanks
Roger

I use hot dog page wiz and do a lot of manual writing again to get my code.
For graphics I use microsoft picture publisher.

Dreamweaver is fine and photoshop, too but I do fine with this cheaper products as I don’t do many graphics on my own.

Dreamweaver for me but I could never get into the MX version so still use version 4. I must make the effort with MX though.

Most designers use Photoshop for graphics, though I like to use Illustrator quite a bit as well. For page layout, the designer’s program of choice is Dreamweaver, mine is the ‘old fashioned’ way of using BBedit.

Frontpage. Very low learning curve if you use any Windows apps.
