It’s tough to find the right balance. 1 site is totally enough work to manage, maintain and grow to be above and beyond a full time job. But, it’s so important to always have a Plan B and diversify yourself. Just curious to know what the “norm” is out there to keep the best balance.
about 10 of them has revenue, the rest is just waiting for us to put more effort in and monetise better
We have one main site and one operational support site.
Additionally we own a few more domains, 1 that will become a main site (eventually) and 2 more feeders.
So that’s 5 domains in total. 2 currently active. 1 main.
We actually just sold 3 sites which were going to all be main sites but realised that we were splitting our time between too many sites and thereby not actually making any real progress. So we dumped them to focus on Slots-Guide for the time being.
i have about 90 sites but it is very difficult to manage them so planning to sell some.
Jesus! 90 sites. …now I am curious, how do you promote all of them? Perhaps, you keep them to sell links or similar schemes ??
I own 5 sites, plus 1 site for hobby and plus 1 site “technical” with my notes, information, etc.
Let me tell you, this is still difficult to manage and promote five sites. If you want to achieve success, you need to focus on few sites and manage them on regular basis.
Don’t you think so? :huh::colgate:
