A lot has been said in recent times about the use of Pinterest for SEO purposes so tt would be great to hear your feedback. Are you using it? How and what kind of results are you seeing in terms of traffic?
I use it for a few sites. I see some traffic from it also
Can you give us a few examples of how it was used and whether Google Analytics has a special tab under social monitoring any traffic coming from it?
Thanks
no idea about GA as I would never use link my sites to it .( you giving Google to much info )
GamblingShares care to share more? I’m curious how this works – haven’t experimented with it
here is an easy way for seo… a backlink ? Pin any image to a link on your website or blog . Ideally, the image and URL used should be directly related to the Pinterest content being pinned.
now keep in mind Pinterest up to 500 characters for describing your photo/image. Cram it full of keywords ( ok dont overdo it lol). Google bots can crawl and index Pinterest data
remind me and I will post more ,I was away from a real pc all day ..lots to catch up on !
I don’t think its very helpful for SEO as I used it for sometime and did’t see any results. If any one got any positive result then please do share.
are u just “pinned ” them or are you filling in what is allowed like a keywordable description and a link ?

For direct traffic you’re correct, you won’t get much traffic but for increasing the value of the page your pin is linking to it is very helpful.
I highly recommend using ALL social media sites for SEO boosts.

Yup…but you know what I think is really happening…it is not just the mini-article in the description, that definitely gets assimilated into your ranking on terms. It is the increased ratio of nofollow and dofollow links. I believe (due to the changeover of almost all social media to “nofollow”) that we can now benefit from have a larger nofollow to dofollow link profile than was previously deemed optimal.
