Would it be useful to cut down the amount of links to let’s say 10? I’m starting to think it would, so please help me out!
What specific sites your linking to.
Why your linking to them in the first place.
How your linking to them, (naturally, as sponsors or sold links, etc)
How relevant are they to your site?
How useful are they to your visitors?
What deals are in place from the fact your linking?
WHat will you lose by not linking to them.
Why change what your linking to if your site is doing well in SERPS?
Casinos only

Why change what your linking to if your site is doing well in SERPS?
We like to do even better
Thanks for your imput, hope you can help me out. We’re indeed doing fine but we always like to do better. Therefore I’m curious if less outgoing links would help us..
thx for your time!
On the info you gave I think any changes you make on this issue will be minimal, theres a multitude of other ways you can boost your SERPS, without changing number of outgoing links at the level you have them, which isnt excessive.
Not all paid links violate our guidelines. Buying and selling links is a normal part of the economy of the web when done for advertising purposes, and not for manipulation of search results. Links purchased for advertising should be designated as such. This can be done in several ways, such as:
- Adding a rel=”nofollow” attribute to the tag
- Redirecting the links to an intermediate page that is blocked from search engines with a robots.txt file
