My poker site playoker4free.net has been running for about 16 months now and i’m still well and truly stuck in the sandbox. I get high serp placings on msn and yahoo but absolutely nothing on google, anyone any ideas of how i can get myself out of the sandbox? or what i might have done wrong that has made google hate me so much?

No one knows for sure, but links and time seem to be the variables most likely to affect the Google sandbox. Our site was in the sandbox for 16 months and as of May seems to be just starting to come out. We optimize for several keywords, and are starting to show up for some of them. Haven’t caught up to our allinanchor positions yet, but at least there is some progress.
Just had a look at your backlinks for your site. You need to pick up more themed links. How does your site rank compared to your allin positions?
I agree I have been in the sandbox for about 16 months. At this rate my site will be out of the sandbox just about when they make gambling online illegal.

Personally I could care less about Google, although a boast in traffic they would give would be huge!
Think outside the box and make people aware that your website exists. (non-internet)
