How much do you earn each month?

Engineer asked 4 years ago
It’s been a while since a poll like this appeared on CAP….

On average, how much do you earn each month?

(This is an anonymous poll).

I suggest more selection for

$100,000 – $500,000

like

$100,000 – $200,000
$200,000 – $300,000
$300,000 – $500,000

look at http://affiliates.bookmaker.com and there top earners as most fall within the above categories.

It would be useful if you could get some indication of monthly income respective to age of domain. For example, have the big earners been around for a number of years or are any relatively new sites making a decent income? Is there any way to do this and still keep it anonymous?

Hi Simon,

With 42 votes so far, the results indicate that not very many affiliates make more than $100,000 each month. So, I don’t know if there would be much benefit in adding the subsets you suggested. I tried to come up with groups that seemed likely to have a fair number of affiliates in each category — I didn’t think there would be many affiliates that make more than $100,000 (which seems to be a correct assumption), and I figured that there wouldn’t be any affiliates that make more than $500,000.

If you still want the additional categories, maybe Lou can edit the poll. (I don’t have a way to do this). <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

Fortune Palace,

Yes, this can be done in one of two ways.

1. Create multiple anonymous polls here at CAP, with varying titles such as
– Earnings poll for affiliates who have been around 0-1 year
– Earnings poll for affiliates who have been around 1-2 years
– Earnings poll for affiliates who have been around 2-3 years
etc.

2. Create a poll outside of CAP that can graph the results of 2 questions (i.e. how long have you been in business, and how much do you make). I think there are free polling places that offer something like this, but I haven’t looked into it.
