Okay… think back in time… those heroic old days when you started promoting casinos… now tell me… How long did it take you to hit your first real money player?

If you got the real player quite fast, please specify in this thread whether you started a new site or you started promoting casino’s on an other (non casino) website.

I am eager to see the results, as I am waiting for my first player! (Or better, the money associated…)

I made some money after about 2 months but it has been fits and bursts since then, had a good one last month though, but I’m still some way off being able to live off the money I earn. I’m currently giving some serious consideration to getting some additional help in writing content, I genuinely think that is the key.

But I have to say that I made a big mistake by not researching properly and targetting extremely broad category with a very high competition …

I agree on that, however, anything is for sale isn’t it…

Unless the deal is with a casino that totalle screws their players, I am sure there always be a deal that covers the fact of being less ethical (for me).

Not sure how this is unethical. Companies offer higher commission for better product placement all the time. Either way that must have been a great phone call!

I didn’t make myself clear enough, so i’ll try again:

Lol, long time ago, new site, probably 6 months before I made any money. I might have had one or two players before that…. and it took about a year until I was making anything decent.

In my case it took me 6 months. I already more or less abandoned my site because of schooltasks, when an affiliatemanager called: “You have your first player!” She even said it in Dutch and I, totally unaware of what was going on, asked her “what player??!”

Then she offered me a higher comission if I would place their casino in top positions and this way i already got to know the less ethical side of the industry.

it took us 2 months before anything, now we are doing a consistent 5K monthly. I do see the trend gaining an upward momentum now as far as revenue. Any suggestions/advice most welcome.
