I use them, and they show less traffic for my sites than the statistics of my website provider show.
Anybody has explanation for that?
if the same visitor returns within 5 minutes, is it a new visitor?
or in 30 minutes?
or per day?
analytics is the best imo
You are giving them no more information that is not already “out there”. Conspiracy theories don’t do you any good. Google analytics is free and it’s “goodle”.
:hattip:
they do not have the info about my visitors day if they cannot have access to my stats, do they now? i refuse to make their life easier by doing that
how exactly can they dig such info out if i do not use their products on my sites? there is no way to do that im afraid as far as i am concerned

How does Alexa judge your number of visitors?

from what i can see im not doing too bad i should think
True story…I recently consulted with a potential client (non-gambling) who was ready to sell their website since they were getting 30,000 people to their site per month. They were looking at their hit data provided by their ISP, but they also had Google Analytics installed 2 months ago, and the real traffic data showed about 1000 visitors per month. Hits don’t equal people traffic, not even close.
So yes, use Google Analytics without fear. Google is more interested in helping you than hurting you. You should be utilizing their webmaster tools for that matter as well.
The update they have rolled out is useful as well.
You will never go back to relying on ISP stats again, If you haven’t check it out then I suggest you do.
ps. Webber286 – sent you a pm not so longer ago – did you get it? :hattip:
