I’m just wondering if Google and other search engines give the same “scoring” to Blogroll links compared to a link from a “normal” web page.
eg. If my blog site XYZBloggy.com is a PR2 and my normal site XYZNormalsite.com is a PR2, a link from which site would pass on the most “juice”?
Remember that a blogroll link is visible from all the pages in the site.

Links from text in normal web page are always more valuable than blogroll links.
There was a video about lins quality from RANDFISH at SEOMOZ on one of his white board Friday sessions. he claimed that Blog Roll links were more valuable than normal blog links due to the fact that they were “editorial” in nature. So, I guess that’s a green light on blogroll links.

Do you mean blogroll links are more valuable than website links and normal blog links?
For a question like this there will be a hundred different answers and mine is simply one variation on the other 999.
I would always take a link in content about the topic of the page receiving the link over a blogroll link every day. That is not to say that a blogroll style link has no value though!
