We were better than 2008, but that was primarily due to some small changes in strategy and a ton of work compared to what we did last year. Point is that it isn’t an apples to apples comparison for us, but still encouraging non-the-less. Best year since 2006.

However, I found that I needed double the traffic to get each new depositor and also that players were cashing out a lot more frequently
Yeah, a great year considering the economy, no major footy tournament (quite important for us UK sportsbook affs!)
People have seemed more cautious, like Dendrite says – more traffic to get same accounts, more accounts to get decent players, more cashing out. Lower average bets with some programs.
But if thats in a recession with not that much to bet on, I’m quite optimistic for 2010!
