Dom, please excuse me for quoting you from another thread, but I think you had a super idea there and would like to draw it to J Todd’s attention.
Once again, sorry if I’m stepping on toes –

Thanks ntaus! I think we could outdo Vegas in ways of cooperation with such organizations quite easily.
February 17, 2007 at 7:16 pm #727719AnonymousInactiveThanks Dom and ntaus8…
An arrangement with “problem gamblers” organizations is something viable in the very near future. Right now, however, we are still in the process of getting the entire veterans network to commit to the idea.
Remember that the communications and state-level leadership is in support of the plan, but we are just now presenting the concept to the body of veterans membership. The feedback so far has been overwhelmingly possitive, but it’s still a process we have to go through.
The veterans are looking at the response of the industry. Several leaders in various Veterans Service Organizations have been all over APCW and CAP the past two days… you won’t see them, but they’re here.
One step at a time my friends… this is just the beginning…
February 18, 2007 at 6:57 am #727750AnonymousInactiveIs there a good place to draw information about the group and especially data about their troubles and concerns – it would be nice to add a page about them to our sites and link to each other, giving them and their plight some nice google exposure.
We can push their concerns into the public eye with such an effort, we have lots of google power when we interlink on an issue…
When the course of action is settled, we can add to these pages and publicize the drive in like manner.
Our communal google power can be awesome, all the blogs will pick it up, remember the 888 blacklisting. We can do wonders like that, and every participating site will gain ranking in the process.
Time to lay the foundation for such a drive and attach an info page to our sites.
We can give the Veterans the exposure they deserve!

February 18, 2007 at 8:35 am #727764AnonymousInactiveThis is wonderful that everyone is wanting to help so much, and we are working on a cooperative promotional strategy right now.
One deal we’re finalizing is 50 separate blogs — one for each state — all tied together and hosted at APCW. This will become an area of debate and support for this cause.
We will also work up promotional banners and let all of you know where to send traffic… and if anyone is interested, we may eventually need representative to cover regions or states.

On one hand, he really doesn’t care too much about the American market anymore…
But on the other hand, he is an American Veteran.
February 19, 2007 at 6:51 pm #727957AnonymousGuestHi all
well i can’t imagine someone in the industry not caring about the US market.
But I do agree he’s risen to a point where his site can get along with or without it.
