:bigsmile:March 2, 2004 at 4:14 pm #645628AnonymousInactivedoes anyone know how much it is to place just your pages on the search results? not the pay per click. thanks.
March 2, 2004 at 4:25 pm #645633vladcizsolMember$49
March 2, 2004 at 6:02 pm #645640AnonymousInactiveThat’s $49 annually PLUS .15/.30 per click… talk about having their cake and eating it too…
The .15./30 is because it still isn’t clear which category gambling falls into – but adult is in the cheaper category.
Didn’t someone say that too much jerking off would make one blind? Looks exactly like what Yahoo is doing…

Oh sure Spear, now you tell us!
March 3, 2004 at 1:56 pm #645715AnonymousInactivefew questions:
can you control the click amount for each month?
is there a minumum amount each month to spend?
can you use an affiliate link or would that not be wise?
does anyone use these and are they worth it?
im listed with yahoo already on first pages for certain search terms like ( gambling casinos online, live poker rooms, high roller bonuses) but i don’t see any clicks.
any info would be appreciated. thanks.

few questions:can you control the click amount for each month?[/quote]
It will only allow clicks until your account runs out of funds, I doubt that they will put any sort of throttling mechanism in there.
Quote:is there a minumum amount each month to spend?Doubt that too but definitely $49 per year…
Quote:can you use an affiliate link or would that not be wise?Good question… but I strongly suspect that these will not be allowed (while I sneak around the back and try it LOL).
Quote:does anyone use these and are they worth it?If you are already being crawled, don’t bother. If you aren’t being crawled, maybe. If you’re just looking for 48-hour refreshes, I think you can still use Position Tech but not absolutely sure…

I would certainly NOT advise using this option for three-word phrases unless they are VERY competitive.
any info would be appreciated. thanks.
March 3, 2004 at 10:01 pm #645781AnonymousInactiveI very much doubt anyone here will want to use this program. If you are already in there is no good reason to.
Also, (since I haven’t signed up I can’t be 100% sure), this is not targeted to keywords like Overture is. It’s targeted to your page showing in the results. This means if someone searches for: live roller rooms a page like casinowebmaster’s might show in the results and get clicked, costing 15 or 30 cents.
So anyone who comes to your site via search terms that aren’t useful at all to you but you happen to rank well for will still cost you money.
This program is for big retailers to get their deep product pages into the Yahoo index. yahoo is promising to improve its free crawl of the web, which is not very good now. If they do, then there is no reason to even think about this for most people.
March 5, 2004 at 9:41 pm #645892AnonymousInactiveIMO..Yahoo’s program, as it stands right now..is a load of BS. .15-.30 a click??
Does anyone know is Yahoo plans to have a free submit option like Google?
