Now that the WSOP Final Table has been determined, there are two final stretches — the gap until August when ESPN begins airing coverage of the just-concluded Main Event preliminaries, and the gap until November when the final showdown begins. In the meantime — has the WSOP been helping your online poker numbers? Did you see any kind of traffic uptick, for those poker programs that advertised during the gameplay or for online poker in general?
Of course, ESPN hasn’t aired its coverage of the Main Event yet, so that uptick may not happen until then — if it happens at all.
But in the meantime, tell us what you think — did you try marketing to WSOP enthusiasts by blogging or posting news about the WSOP? If so, did it work?
