Here’s a really dumb question from a webbie newbie: what does SERP stand for?
I can figure out a lot of these abbrev’s, but not all!
I know I can’t be the only one out here who isn’t familiar with the lingo, I’m just the only one dumb enough to admit it………
…..d’oh!
And while we’re at it, would someone please make a list of abbreviations with corresponding definitions. heh
(please, no pointing and laughin’ k?)

Well done all!

Glad you like the signature line, it’s a classic Jack Handy Deep Thought!
February 18, 2004 at 1:28 pm #645005AnonymousInactiveCPM = cost per mille (thousand).
I think it is derived from French.
February 18, 2004 at 1:34 pm #645006vladcizsolMemberThanks whoiscasino…
I think once the list grows long enough I will create a permanant doc and place it on the main site.
While it seems basic to advanced webmasters to newbies a simple glossary of these terms will be a big help.
