Hi all!
I have had a very bad day today. I received a mail from Google where they told me that they ”have temporarily removed some of your webpages from our search results”.
One of my WordPressblogs has been hacked and was full of hidden text and spam links.
The blog was on a sub domain, but google removed top domain and 11 sub domains from index. My signups will probably decrease 50%. I erased the infected sub domain and submitted my sites for reconsideration, but it will probably take many weeks before they are back in index.August 19, 2008 at 6:56 pm #776125smazk32MemberErik,
Try this: contact google and explain what happened. They may remove the penalty to your other domains immediately or make it faster.
Usually you can get a response from them in less than a day.
Good luck.

August 19, 2008 at 8:47 pm #776131garycarsonMemberMarcelo, how do I contact Google? I have resubmitted my sites at webbmaster tools, Request reconsideration, but it will probably take week before anything happens. Do you have an adress to google you have used and got a fast result?
I have no idea how they hacked the blog, it was verision 2.1.2 of wordpress. When I checked the blogposts as code It was easy to see the added spam text and links, when visual nothing was visible.August 21, 2008 at 11:19 am #776349mcasinoMemberErik147;173000 wrote:Marcelo, how do I contact Google?
