With the new laws coming around banning online casinos in the United States I wonder how strict they will become.

My site(in the works) has the word casino in the name and domain. But, it’s a free for fun casino. It will have poker games, slots, ect… to be played for FUN. Just like an arcade site. I’m going to be selling ad spots(text & banner) tho. So if someone who is an affilate to a casino could advertise on my site. Will that be legal?

    Thanks,
    Aaron.

for now there should be no reason for you not to continue with your plan for your new site. if it is so new, chances are it will not be found by prosecutors as easily as public gambling companies are found.

The way people talk, it seems like in the US a law is law before passing Congress. I must admit than in Europe a law only is law after being approved.

Right now the Republicans control the house and the senate. Indications are that Democrats may win the house and the Republicans will keep control of the senate. If this is the case then not much will be done. If the Republicans win the house and retain control of the senate there is a possibility it could pass at some point.
