    Looks like Sandy has already started flooding Manhattan and it hasn’t even hit yet

    How are you folks in the Northeast preparing? Anyone here have experience with sever hurricanes?

    I am about 40-50 miles north of where it is flooding . Just a little wind and some rain ! It is o supposed to hit us tonite.
    BBQ has a new propane tank.Old work generator all ready to start ( refridge, micro, computer,and a few lights )
    might as well build a few sites offline

    update no power since Monday 7pm . maybe next monday or tuesday will get back

    stealling wifi and running laptop from car lol

    a few post and going home to the cold dark house !

    wow was wondering where you’ve been! Did you guys get flooded too? Or was it power outage with heavy rain/wind?

    power outages , Heavy winds , trees uprooted and fell over , lots of trees thru the power lines, main roads still blocked by fallen tress with downed wired,
    Not that much heavy rain by me.

    In NYC lower manhatten 2 hospitals lost genertor power due to basement flooding ( i guess pumps broke or not able to handle the amount of water coming in ?
    lots of subways are still flooded there also
