You had actually droped me a PM, not Natalie, her log in is NatalieSteward, mine is GamblingWages.
I just found it, and she just received the email. TODAY is the 19th… I hope you can understand it will take a day or two for us to check everything and get back to.
And remember to get prompt responces, please use our internal messaging system, my email nicolas at gamblingwages dot com or MSN messenger nicolas_1875 at hotmail dot com, I don’t log in to the forums too often, but I check my email and the ticketing system and I am on MSN everyday I come to work.
Hi Nicolas,
Ok, so I’ve posted on this thread several times over the course of the past week. I PM’ed GamblingWages all my account info on the 13th. I wrote an email to Natalie on the 17th (as she’ll see in the email – it was not the 19th – that was a typo). I wrote an email to you (Nicolas) this morning (13 hours ago), and at that time also sent a message via Gambling Wages internal messaging system.
I have not received any response to my inquiry yet, but I am hopeful that one of these efforts will merit a response that addresses the issue!
Thanks!
December 23, 2006 at 5:21 pm #719815AnonymousInactiveI want to post for the record that I did receive a call from Nicolas on the 21st.
As it turns out, Gambling Wages does have a policy that they carry over negative balances, only they do not enforce it except in “extreme circumstances.”
In my case, “The negative came from Club Player. During October your commission there was for -$1193.36, for November it was of $1,657.40. If you make the subtraction you will get $464.04, which when added to your commissions from Cirrus $128.71 and Palace $521.56 will give you the amount we paid; $1114.31.”
I find this to be a very unclear and frustrating policy. It would be nice to have it clearly stated: What is the threshold? When is it implemented? Etc. Affiliates need to know where they stand, how they can determine their earnings, and if things are going to be handled in an unusual way one month, they deserve at the very least a notification or explanation.
December 23, 2006 at 11:44 pm #719835AnonymousInactiveHi Cowboy,
It is clearly stated in our Terms that we reserve the right to make negative carry-overs. We really hardly ever apply it, as can be evidenced by the lack of complaints/remarks about this subject in our forum.
As to the threshold to apply this I can say that it is based on the performance of your players, both past and present. But there are simply too many factors that will go into whether or not an affiliate gets a negative carry over for me to say it is due to X performance during a given period of time in a given casino.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and I thank you for your understanding.
Best Regards,
Nicolas Johnson
