lol.
to clarify – I was referring to anyone whos whole business model is based on selling high pr links ONLY- the moronic bit being basing your biz on something which can evaporate at any time…
still no pr update. boo hoo
September 3, 2007 at 3:25 pm #747681biggygMemberIn that case Alex I also agree with you. Some people just take the link juice out of sites ,never update them or reinvest the money they make into getting more traffic and quality for their sites. Also the smart ones work on pr 365 days a year , so in many ways the pr update is not so important just shows us what our hardwork paid us.
I have a pr0 travel site in top of google serps i am getting 500+ hits a day there.Google adsense now is about $30.00 a day.I have a pr5 travel site i havent had the time for and isnt updated as often , that site akes me $1.00 a day so from a financial sense pr really isnt everything. As for gambling sites i dont think it is much point to try to aim higher than pr6 because the costs far outweight the benefits .Every day i have people not wanting to buy ads on sites that have gambling content.PR does affect serps but i dont think there is much difference in a pr4 and a pr6 serps wise.In this niche what makes the money is the regular updating and good on page SEO.
A year ago I had a pr6 gambing site and a pr0 ,the pr0 I did all the SEO myself and was selective on the links i bought.I had a map of the keywords i was aiming for and that site now makes $xx,xxx every month. The pr6 site is a bit stale and really if it wasnt for the link sales on it ,it really dont make mUch more than $1000 a month. That’s my ten cents on PR
