In my day job I have a security clearance and access to the US Government’s secure networks. These networks are much smaller than the internet, the websites are non-competitive, and the Google search engine is used to query them.
While my webmaster skills are meager by webmaster standards, they are quite good by your average government worker standards. So, when my boss wants to “get the word out” on some particular issue he turns to me to post it on the secure network. I typically do this by creating a new page on our portal or starting a new Sharepoint subsite. Within days my creations are at or near the top of the SEP returns for the keywords I want.
If only it were so easy on the real internet!

But to get faster index by SEs, get some links from high authority sites that get index daily. Or get links from some news or social network sites.
