I think one could add Ladbrokes to the list. They close affiliate accounts without warning.
Regarding Bwin, everything has been said already.

I think part of the problem is those reviews of programs although a great idea is open to shills.
I mean look at some of the good reviews for GWAGES? Or even Europartners. Both these programs have robbed affiliates for a long time. Gwages has taken a back approach these days and does allot of prepaids, and i know Europartners also pays prepaids but still if affiliates are not being 100% honest in the reviews its hard to use them to make decisions.Really i would increase the post count or length of time it takes to do a review of a casino program.
I mean anyone can create accounts and shill out great reviews.
At any rate Europartners is a tragedy!
What about rating programs – old school style, thumbs up or thumbs down. Almost similary to how Cnet does its product reviews. Review by the website (CAP in this case). 5 star rating, pros and cons for each program. Only thing is, to be successful – CAP members need to be involved in doing reviews in a simple format…. and.. we should get rewarded for it – that way the incentive is there for people to do it?
November 15, 2011 at 3:53 am #819472turbooddsMemberNot sure Rak – its just very easy for abuses to happen right now with program reviews. Like I said several new accounts can be open – and make a few posts – after which a review can be given in a positive manner. Same would go for thumbs up or down.
There is just to much room for fake reviews on both sides either it be negative or positive. My idea of raising post count may not be the answer as well because it is prejudice to active members. Not everyone has to be active to do a review but it helps.
Since CAP take money for sponsorships its also hard for them in the sense they have to really be careful how they positions things. To much negative reviews and the program will not renew.
Not sure what the answer is – but when you have great reviews for Europartners and Gwages you certainly know something is really wrong.
The same can be said for Cpays/Affiliates United. These companies are well known to hand out large dollars on prepaid deals to get top honors and people will turn a blind eye.
Im not saying its wrong – who knows if i was offered large sums of money on a prepaid I may take it or I may not.. everyone needs to put food on the table.
Over all though I think with time people generally understand whats good or whats not. Its a free world and anyone can decide what they do. I doubt well all never come together on a general way of reviewing programs but i know for me I have stated the same things over and over..
I will always be here and other places educating people on several programs such as Bwin, Europartners, GWages and what not..
If anyone wants to work with these programs i suggest “GET PAID UPFRONT”!!
Haha thats my two cents.

I am not a big affiliate of theirs ( But generally make about 1K per month sometimes less sometimes more ) and I have never done any kind of pre paid deal or even promised them good positions on my sites, but yet I really have never had a problem – even in the days they were still known as Casino Partners ( I think that was their previous name )
So I am talking about quite a number of years of promoting them.
Am I just one of the lucky ones? Am I perhaps still going to be bitten? I don’t know – only time will tell….In 10 years of promoting online casinos – I have always managed to get my money out of the casinos , except for the odd $50.00 here and there from the likes of Full Tilt Poker etc. but in terms of big money I have not lost anything yet ( famous last words – its bound to happen eventually I suppose ) ( ok…maybe its the heavies I send to pay them a visit – LOL )
The ONLY one that has shafted me is Best Casino Partner – I think they owed me about $750.00 and only made a payment of $250.00, but I can’t even complain about this as I don’t consider it as big money and I did make a fair amount in the days when things were going good with them, plus the little gifts they sent me over the years sweetened the blow a bit.
November 15, 2011 at 6:14 pm #819492turbooddsMemberHey Heather,
They do treat a handful of well known affiliates (super affiliates) such as yourself Even though you do not send them high numbers – can you imagine what would happen to their reputation if they did to you what they do to so many?
If you were to ever speak against them for non payment – that is worth 100s of affiliates to them in terms of reputation. I would take it as a compliment
Your word is so well respected and trusted – they could never go against you and get away with it.

As of when has Ladbrokes begun giving problems? This is the first I’ve heard of them having any issues. I’ve always heard good things.
November 16, 2011 at 11:26 pm #819517turbooddsMemberWith Europartners you have to keep on them. Never stop. Email them everyday or at least 3 4 times a week. Post in forums they owe you money – eventually they will pay. I did this one time and they paid me after 1 year – that is right i had to email them 100s of times and i would never give up – I actually agreed to a pay off of 50% just to close the case.. LOL
To bad Marc is not there – he got things done – the rest are a shambles – mind you Robin is a decent person working with a pack of wolves. I would email them non stop if i were you. Never let up.
I yanked Affiliates United after the last fiasco and hearing reports of other issues – they were really improving too. BUt it seems they are back to what they used to be.

There is quite a long thread about Ladbrokes at GPWA Forums (Affiliate Program T&Cs).

November 17, 2011 at 10:50 pm #819543AnonymousInactiveThey cannot seem to pay US affiliates (Ladbrokes), they do not respond to emails from affiliates and now I was just mailed yesterday that my new affiliate manager is leaving…lol I think she lasted 2 months!
November 18, 2011 at 2:05 am #819547turbooddsMemberYeah Ladbrokes is for sure not a company you want to invest your time in atm. Being that its close to Christmas, its safer to deal with the well known above board companies and not mess with these con jobs.
