Anyone around to clean up this forum?

I mean the dating spam post are from the 11th…not a good sign
By the looks of things the last person to leave forgot to switch off the lights and lock the front door.
Seems it’s been abandoned to the spammers. Pity as it once was a good forum to be a member of.
I also think it is a shame to let this forum go down the drain! It used to be a great alternative to the GPWA crap place and I hope CAP reconsiders to bring this place back to life!

Hi everyone – you are 100% right. We got hit with Spam pretty hard, and had a few bugs in the vb admin that prevented us from being able to clean this up immediately. That combined with the fact that we have had some new members join the team, made it difficult to address this.
Rest assured, the mod team is going to be back on top of things, and the forums will be back to normal by the end of this week. We’ll also do a better job of communicating what’s going on more pro-actively in the future as well.
That is great news, Arjun. I missed this forum and am sure there are quite a few others as well who will welcome back the place.

So what can we expect from the CAP forum for 2016? I am sure it could easily be revamped by deleting all the spam and closing/ updating all the old sponsor sub-forums.
