October 16, 2006 at 8:21 am #711966AnonymousInactiveHi all,
I will look into your concerns ASAP and feedback with my findings via PM and this forum!

October 17, 2006 at 3:19 am #712171AnonymousInactive83 account closed here
My guess is they were in the referback restricted states.
October 17, 2006 at 7:01 pm #712279AnonymousInactiveAny info on this? 417 players seems way to much even for the restrictions. There is just no way.
October 18, 2006 at 9:41 am #712344AnonymousInactiveHi there all,
The increase in closed account is due to the 11 states close out.
Why they appear higher than possible is that the lock out is happening on all historical accounts that have been opened in the ‘danger zones’.
Many of the accounts now being closed may actually have been lapsed players but for the sake of keeping it all neat and tidy they’re being ‘officialy closed’.
Please note that all players who were affected by this were contacted and allowed time to play out balances in their accounts.
also all revenue due for these players (up until the 13th) will be honored at the end of this month.

October 18, 2006 at 7:07 pm #712431AnonymousInactiveOk…. whew (please stay calm mark)
With all due respect shane this is bullshit… I did a check of my numbers as far as I can go and I only had 500 new players in nearly a year and now you are telling me 471 of them… Man I cant even type this I am so mad…
I put so much into your company (knowing) you guys were not on the level… I know shane…. (bottom line I DO REALLY KNOW!!!) …. I did make a request that I was taken out of the “get screwed” list and thought that I had a good relationship with you guys… I can see now that this is not the case..
Hell you still did not even send me my 250 amazon voucher..
I am so fucking shocked by this I dont know what to do… I wish everyone would stop screwing me I tell ya…
October 19, 2006 at 10:07 am #712515AnonymousInactiveHi there Mark,
Let me just state that Referback is out to do business and in order to be succesful we need long term partners – doing them in is not good business sense as well as being simply unethical.
I have run a lifetime acqusition report on your opens and sent it to you via a pm – please look at the number of open accounts and compare to the number of closed accounts.
You need to keep in mind what I said above “all historical accounts that have been opened in the ‘danger zones’.” So not just this year but since the inception of you affiliate account with us.
As per your account manager we have sent you Amazon vouchers 3 times and each time they come back to us as undeliverable.
We do have the new address details you supplied Mike and have sent through this address to the voucher senders today and we hope that it gets to you shortly.
Regards,
Shane
October 19, 2006 at 4:24 pm #712574AnonymousInactiveI would like to hear from some of the big dogs… why so “little” of a response from all the membership? Did I miss something about this already?
Anyway, I only see a few people in here saying they lost players and non are nowhere near 400+ Shane….
October 19, 2006 at 4:39 pm #712578AnonymousInactiveDiceman I pride myself on being a straight shooter and if I come back with a statement about having looked into something I have. Now I get that these are unsure times however ReferBack has been up front about the closed accounts situation and the states involved.
We have also stated (above) that any revenues due off closed accounts will be honored up to the 13th when the accounts were closed.
I know this is a trust game but I hope that when you get what is rightfully yours at the end of the month and when the vouchers make it into your hands that you will see that we have been on the level all along.

October 19, 2006 at 8:37 pm #712610vladcizsolMemberDiceman I lost hundreds of players also and I just got off the phone with another affiliate who saw 840 player accounts closed so you dont have the record.
:suicide:
October 19, 2006 at 8:59 pm #712616AnonymousInactiveI have a ton of closed accounts also.
I am sure Referback will handle this correctly as usual.
We should get mad at Frist, not the people who share the consequences of that law with us.
October 19, 2006 at 9:52 pm #712634AnonymousInactiveWell, the latest stats update shows that I’m the lucky owner of 1136 closed accounts. :shots:
