I’ve paid between $9-$28 for 468×60 banners. I would say those are closer to the $10 range.

Here are the range of banner quality that I’ve purchased:

    Low end:
    468x60banner.gif

    Mid-range:

    pokerguide.gif

    High end:
    bingo468x60b.gif

    Hope that helps!

I actually saw the “Bingofunorama” and “Your passport to online bingo” banners while surfing one day and thought “wow, those look nice!”.

If those top notch banners cost 28$ (I’d consider them a bargain at that price), then I’d pay about ten bucks for the poker ones like Tropical Tundra said.

    Hi Lady,

I’m a Graphic Designer and since you are going to pay for these and even though he is a friend of yours your entitled to ask for variations of the banner.

This is just my opinion but the focal point is on your web address and I’m sure that’s what you’re wanting, but it a little too distracting and I think the background should be lighter as it’s too hard to read your site

    Hi Tropical Tundra.

Please tell – where do you get your banners? Those are nice and the price is right.

The banners from your friend are not commercial … no price recommended and further paractice suggested.

Unless you particularly asked for the lurid purple on purple colour scheme (then it’s your fault).

The banners below that are very very nice … and when you see their price for the pixel perfect and very carefully constructed effort … then those are a great deal.

Do your friend a favour – and show them what they need to aspire to.

Being a designer also, I’m not digging the flashing purple banners. Hurts my eyes. The others are stronger, but nothing extra special. If these are unique banners, $28 is a pretty good deal, I would charge several hundred, and have btw.

AKKK! I now must come back and defend my freind!! I did ask for the “Lurid Purple” I asked specifically for “Gawdy, flashy, banners with sparkle” That my users would put on their Myspace.com pages :P
If you’ve seen Myspace it is all about the sparkle ;)

Anyway.. I didnt put this thread here so that my friend would be insulted :( and now I’m sorry it’s here.. I really just wanted a $$ amount.. .

Soooo.. I feel like I should show you guys some of his other banners, that were made with other specific purposes in mind..
