    Hello,
I am looking for someone to redesign my site: http://www.cardcritic.com

Basically, I would like what is there to be redone in a template I can use for new pages as well.

I would like site navigation reworked out of frames, and lade out in an easy to navigate way. I would like a top banner and other graphics as needed. I would like an articles section added with easy content management. I think I would like it in php for easy content management. I would like a homepage designed. I would like to be able to use dream-weaver to edit the site, and add new pages.

I am looking for ideas I have not thought of, estimates of cost from other webmasters and peers, and of course proposals and questions from web designers.

Please advice me as to price and time frame, all constrictive input is welcome.

I have a couple of guys, who do good work and would probably do this for about $150 – $200 tops. You would have to add the content to the template that they would create, but they are good at letting you know where to place that content.

PM me if you need their contact information. I can give you site(s) to look at that was created by them (as a template).

I would like more then a template, I tend to break them.

Also, I’ve realised I would like the reviews to be database drivin. I would like to be able to enter the data (a ranking number and worded review for 11 categories, with an ability to add categories and more site reviews easily) once, and use it in more then one way.(ie. rank sites by best in each category, and the user can pick the important criteria to them and get a ranking of the sites, etc.)

For the articles section, really I will need 5 article sections. Each will be lade out the same and will have its own home page with article list. Would this be harder then 1 section? Can the same one just be reused?

And I would like it easy to maintain. I would like some kind of administrative panel. I mentioned dream-weaver before, but really any simple to use system would work.

You might want to start a project on Scriptlance. You can typically find inexpensive help there. If you went to a typical designer for this, you will be paying quite a bit.

I need to warn about servies like scriptlance.

Do not, under any circumstances, allow server access to people from these services.

I have had severe problems caused by this and lost a lot of money, not to mention work.

I agree. I give them scripted databases and they must work on their own servers (which all the ones with experience will do) and then they must show me the final version (via their server) prior to payment being made.

It has worked quite well and a couple of my web designers are picked from there.
