Hello,
i tried to look for the apcw webmaster casino page in google ( http://linksmanager.com/apcw/links1.html ) but couldn’t find it.It would be good if this page was indexed for page rank stuff.

Google has been doing strange $h!t lately…
For instance, on my main casino guide page, I have a PR0. All the other pages in the site are PR4 to PR2, most in the PR3 range… yet my main index page is a ZERO… no grey bar… just ZERO.
I’m not linking to anyone directly, except my other sites, which are PR4, PR4, and PR5. And this is happening while my backward links have jumped by about 200 to 300 over the past two months.
Also, Google shows no links to this index page, but does show links to my secondary pages for bonuses, comps, and payouts. I can’t figure those people out.
======================================
As far as APCW’s page listing webmasters portals, you’ll notice two things about it:
1) It’s not served from the APCW site, but the links manager site. I did that so — in the even some members site in penalized by Google — it won’t affect APCW to link to them, and thus not affect all members linking to APCW.
…and…
2) The links manager page from APCW does carry a PR5. So, obviously Google found it and liked it at some point. So why won’t Google list it now? Your guess may be better than mine. I simply attribute it to one more over-inflated company recklessly screwing with our livelyhood through some overdeveloped sense of moral obligation…
:rolleyes:
September 2, 2004 at 8:12 pm #654293AnonymousGuestExactly what happened to casinogeek last month – first page 0, all others 4.
But, if I type in http://casinogeek.net, the first page is a 4, too.
Just not with a “www” – type in the whole thing with the “www.” and it’s a zero.Gamesdex sent me this, from another forum, which may explain it somewhat:
Quote:My site has gone from PRto zero. (Or the Google Toolbar is greyed out) Why? or
My site has disappeared from the SERPs. Why?
This seems to happen on occasion and the natural tendency is to think you’ve been banned. However, this is rarely the case (if you’ve been doing bad things then you’re not asking this question because you already know why this has happened!). For reasons known only to the powers to be this just happens. After a while, usually next update, things return to normal. What can you do about it? Nothing really. You can write to Google but all you’ll get is one of the generic responses that doesn’t really tell you anything. The best thing you can do is to sit back, have a beer or three, and wait for things to be set right again….on their own.
Also, new websites can take a while to have visible PR assigned to them. This doesn’t mean the site doesn’t have PR. It just means the Google Toolbar or other methods of checking just haven’t been updated yet.
This change to my site’s pr hasn’t affected the SERPs at all, thank heavens.
