Either its the same serial number (computer number) which would get automatically blocked by ipoker if more than one account was created, or, its the same IP or IP sub meaning a bunch of computers connected to the same internet, like a LAN or something, I dont think that would be blocked instantly.
i think you can create many accounts from the same pc or ip adress without getting blocked but no affiliate will be so stupid
but it`s not possible that two players using the same pc to play in a tournament and all my players have played in a private tournament

January 25, 2010 at 10:30 am #807768DaveTitanMemberWe run a young affiliate program, promoting a good brand. Image is one of the most important aspects for an affiliate program, especially a new program, which must build up a good reputation.
We are working hard to develop a good image, but does it mean I should pay for fraud traffic? If 2 or 3 CPA abusers decide to damage Winner Affiliates by posting on decent forums then I suddenly have to pay for their fraudulent activity?
Both these people, Mika and Frankm69 approached us. They asked for a CPA deal and a guaranteed prize pool for private tournaments. We were generous enough to agree to most of their conditions (I’ll save everyone’s time and will avoid posting all of their email here).
They both have players who tried signing up at Winner from the same computer. It still doesn’t mean that those people managed to play at the same tournament.
When the affiliate managers and I asked to speak over the phone they came up with excuses – one said that he lost his voice and that he is on the way to the doctor. That same guy told me later on that his English isn’t good enough. When I said that I have a German speaker in the office, and that he can translate then he totally ignored and just kept threatening that if I don’t pay some money then he’ll keep trashing us on forums.
It really feels like blackmail. The fact that we have already paid hundreds of thousands of dollars this month speaks for itself. We have plenty of money, which is being spent on affiliates, on promotions, and on many other activities. We are about to add a sportsbook and turn Winner into one huge brand. We work with big affiliate and with small forums. All the money has been paid on time, and the fact is that most affiliates are pushing us up on their sites (or push Winner harder among their offline communities).January 25, 2010 at 10:49 am #807769turbooddsMember@Winneraff 215357 wrote:

Whether it be via the complaint system here at CAP or using the GAU.
There is a good system in place here to resolve issues!!
Both Affiliate and Aff Program are being tarnished..
Wish everyone well in this case.

there is no chance to find a solution
these scammers keep telling me that all my players use the same computer
maybe ilan can explain here how 15 players can signup for the same tournament from the same computer-good luck with it and you better change your name to looseraffiliates
i give you guys a year until you close your doors and are out of bussiness
I’m not taking sides here but you do get people where if they see a private tournament with a big prize pool of $1000 then they will make multiple accounts and play using the same computer or different computers within the same building. They do this as it increases the chance of them earning more $$$/winning the tournament. This is the problem hosting private tournaments and doing a CPA deal at the same time as once someone has found out about it and want to increase their chances of winning there’s no way an affiliate can stop this.
Like GFPC said before the best option for doing things like this would be to do a HyBrid Deal but then you’re still going to have the problem with fraudsters making multiple accounts but at least the network wouldn’t have to pay as much out compared to being on a CPA only deal. There’s just no winning with fraudsters which is a shame. The only thing I can suggest is asking the network to provide you with the IP of the fraudsters and ban the ip from access your site. But again like I said there’s just no winning as it isn’t hard to change your ip address or go through a proxy, but at least it lets them know your onto them where then they might go elsewhere.
Thanks,
Michael Walmsley
