Get your mind out of the gutter… Sickos.
I’m talking about something new from the NGC (Nevada Gaming Commission). Mobile Gambling is now allowed from Vegas Hotel Rooms (and parking lots, too.) The idea: this will encourage people to play more and it will hopefully go straight to the casino’s pockets.
There are a few new other laws that the NGC recently passed that you can check-out Here.
So what are your thoughts? do you think this can help make strides in the Online Gambling Mobile Market, or do you think this is just an extension of the “Lazy American” culture?

I can’t see the majority of people staying in their rooms to play slots on a handheld phone.. tablet maybe, laptop maybe… but then you miss the buzz of the gaming floor, the people, the drinks, the socialness and vegasness of it all.
The hotel room is really meant to be used for one thing *cough* sleep.

There has got to be a reason why Vegas is extending this mobile gaming opportunity to its visitors. Either A) out of pure hope this will increase the casino’s profit or There is a growing need from people to participate in gambling activities remotely from the actual casinos.
A part of me is thinking it’s A. Or am I totally way off?
