As Wagershare has yet been considered a fair and good affiliateprogramm from many webmasters, i must report a very bad experience i am having with them.
I am a longtime affiliate of them, promoting them with more or less success.
But finally i made a nice High-roller for them, who won and lost a good money at one of their casinos. The month he won big, i earned – of course – nothing. As Wagershare sates on its homage under their FAQs (WagerShare) – they do not carry over negative balances:
Are negative balances carried forward?
If your account has a negative balance because customer winnings have exceeded customer losses, consider it cleared! A zero balance will be carried forward to the following month.
Close InfoThis fact was also confirmed by email from their/ my AM Leonardo Armani.
BUT: the high-roller played on, and lost again. Finally – for the first time – the numbers looked nicer for me. But when i check the Payment Report, i found, that i did not make nice money ( some 15k +) but much less – as there was stated an:
High Roller – Auto adjustment made in October 2011 from almost 12k!!!!So, i asked wagershare again, why this, and this was the answer:
The high roller policy is only specific to that player it will not affect your commission on any other player that you have.As soon as the player has zeroed you will start to earn commission on the player.
I am sorry you were unaware of this rule, but this is a rare exception. We do not have negative carry over for anything less than $10,000.
Thanks
So am i unaware of al their wules, or is it more like wagersahre make the rules as they want, in favor of them not needing to pay out commissions? This is an unacceptable busines-behavior and no proper business.
So be warned about the “specific rules” wagershare introduces anytime they want – bevor you sign up at them!
November 28, 2011 at 4:28 am #819694buohcomMemberThis is why terms and conditions are so important to read and understand. Were you notified at the beginning of the following month that you had a qualified “high roller” and did you confirm that 5.4.1 happened?
5.4 High-Roller Policy
5.4.1 In any given month, if an individual player generates a negative net win of at least $10,000 (‘high-roller’), and the aggregate net win in that month (for the casino and sports betting) for that affiliate is negative $2,000 or greater, then the high-roller policy will apply. 5.4.2 If both of the above criteria are met (see clause 5.4.1) then the negative net win generated by the high-roller will be carried forward and offset against future net win generated by that high-roller.
5.4.3 The negative balance carried forward cannot be set-off against other player’s net win.
5.4.4 The negative balance carried forward cannot be greater than the total aggregate negative net win for the affiliate, for that month.
5.4.5 If there is more than one high-roller, the negative balance carried forward will be split proportionally between them.
5.4.6 The negative balance of a high-roller will be reduced by future positive net win that they generate in subsequent months. A negative balance will not be increased by future negative net win unless the high-roller meets the qualifying criteria in subsequent months (see clause 5.4.1).
5.4.7 Affiliates who have qualifying high-rollers on their account will be notified at the beginning of the following month.

no, i was not informed by them – neither in september, nor in october – just now, trying to clear this up. when i asked be email about the negative carryover came:
“Percebi que um dos seus jogadores ganhou um grande prêmio. Para a conveniência de nossos afiliados não fazemos negative carryover.”in english: ” i saw that you have a big winner in your account – for the convinience of our affilites, whe do not have a negative carryover.”
so, who did not read and undestand their T&Cs – me or them?
cheers
of course it is important to read and understand the T&Cs, BUT wagershare should defenetly NOT make contrary information on their site (WagerShare) about the negative carry-over.
