InactiveThe Palace Group, operators of leading online gaming properties Spin Palace Casino, Ruby Fortune Casino and Spin Palace Poker, today announced that they have reached an agreement to acquire all operations of Leisure Casinos, the operator of Piggs Online Casino, Mummy’s Gold Casino, Jackpots in a Flash Casino and Poker333.
As a result of this, WagerShare (the affiliate program for The Palace Group properties) will be incorporating all the brands currently offered by Money Mechanic (the affiliate program for Leisure Casinos).
The integration of the Money Mechanic brands into WagerShare will go live on April 1st 2006. After this time everything pertaining to the Money Mechanic brands, such as statistics, payments and marketing tools etc will be handled by WagerShare. Money Mechanic will remain live until July 1st 2006 for affiliates to check their historical statistics.
Money Mechanic affiliates that already have a WagerShare account will have their accounts merged and all the players previously delivered under Money Mechanic will be in their WagerShare account from April 1st onwards. If there was a slight difference in affiliate account data between the systems, such as a different email address, then the WagerShare details were used, please can all affiliates who had accounts at both programs check their details on the WagerShare system.
For those affiliates who had an account at Money Mechanic but not at WagerShare, an account has been automatically created for you with your Money Mechanic details and your players will be mapped across. Your login details will be emailed to you before the end of this week. All Money Mechanic affiliates will be receiving an email with more details concerning commission tiers and terms and conditions.
The Money Mechanic tracking and link syntax will continue to work in WagerShare until June 1st 2006 by which time all Money Mechanic links must be updated to the WagerShare syntax. These new links and marketing tools will be available from March 1st.
If Money Mechanic affiliates have been using banner tags to track individual campaigns then these have been mapped across to WagerShare adids to allow affiliates to continue tracking at this detail.
We’re very excited about working in an increased capacity with many of our existing affiliates because of the addition of these new brands, and also with those of you from Money Mechanic we’re welcoming on board as new affiliates. If you have any questions at all regarding the handover from Money Mechanic to WagerShare, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Best regards,
Tim Whyles

InactiveTim this is good news and looks like it is being handled properly with plenty of notice and outlining most events that need to happen. One question though. What happens to the 2nd tier that Money Mechanic had? Do we effectively lose the downline we built up?
It doesn’t seem to be mentioned in the emails unless I overlooked it.
