Is there anyone here on this forum who knows anything about the company called Vipprofits.com, which manages the affiliate program for VIP.com sports betting site?
I have been inactive since the UIGEA back in 2006, but this company has always paid me the residual income I earn from the active players I recruited prior to that time when they also stopped accepting US players.
The account is still open, and the stats clearly show that I earned money, and usually they send it by overnight courier via a payment processor within 45 days after the end of a calendar quarter. This time the payment has not arrived and apparently has not been sent.
I have tried over and over to contact these guys but they do not answer my emails. I even tried to send email to the addresses at VIP.com, rather than [email protected], and no response has ever come back to me. They do not have any telephone numbers on the site for the affiliate program at all.
Usually if a company decides for whatever reason to stop paying affiliates, they send a notification, but in this case I have never received any email or regular mail about the issue. The payment was due back on August 15th 2009, which was the pattern in the past.
Does anyone on this forum know how to contact this company? I just want to get my residual payment which is a good amount and I need my money, but it seems they have just decided not to pay, and not to talk as well.
Also, is there any regulatory agency that oversees operations such as this that I could contact? Obviously I do not have a real legal issue, but one of integrity to me, the affiliate on the part of the Affiliate Program.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
September 23, 2009 at 6:07 pm #804310pedrocalderonMemberI need to update this with the news that VIP did finally write back to me. The person did not sign with a name or anything, but he did say that they were sorry for the delayed payment and would combine the Q2 with Q3 coming up in a week. I am not dancing on the table over this yet, but it is some progress to get an email of any kind from them. If they pay me at some point, I will come in and update this post with that news, but it does appear that they are not running the affiliate program anymore as it has disappeared from their betting site completely. I wrote back and asked if they would send the payment quickly, but I won’t be holding my breath or anything.
October 22, 2009 at 3:49 am #805122steanerMemberI am in the same situation. I am owed 1K plus and they are not responding to my emails. I’ve sent about 10 emails since March but not one reply. I also attempted to chat with VIP.COM support and they said that they can`t speak for VIPPROFITS, which is totally BS. They asked me to email [email protected]
I wish I could copy/paste the convo I had with them but I lost the convo.
I will keep you guys updated with my situation.
All affiliates should NOT join this program, at least until it is stable again, which is highly unlikely.
October 22, 2009 at 4:35 am #805123pedrocalderonMemberThanks for your input, but I am sorry to hear you are out as well. I also am not surprised, and since my last update, they have not sent my money. Let’s see, the 2nd quarter ended on June 30th, and it is now Oct 21? How late is that?
Since you wrote, here’s another item. Last year in the 3rd quarter, by mid November I was wenting my payment but it came in early December and was $2,000 short. They just took the money and never gave any explanation.
I have asked them for that money back about 40 times, but they know who to respond to and who to ignore. So, they owe me that $2,000 and another $3,000 for Q2 – 2009.
Even though they sent me a note saying they would be combining Q2 and Q3, I really don’t believe them at all. They turned my affiliate account off at the end of Q2 and there is no activity since then (nothing to combine Q2 with).
Another item – they seem to have taken their affiliate program off their site completely. I have asked them if they have closed it, but again, just like everything else, they will not write back and confirm.
So, whatever they are doing it sure is mysterious. I was just hoping they would send me this last payment. I am sure they are going out of the affiliate business at least.
October 23, 2009 at 1:37 am #805170AnonymousInactiveSeems like a new thread about VIP comes up every couple months with a similar question/concern. They owed us 4K a couple of years ago and shut off our account, didn’t answer any emails, finally did get a call through to someone who pushed it off on someone else that never got back to us.
Sounds like you aren’t sending any new players, so you are lucky to be getting paid anything (if you do indeed get paid). Clearly traffic shouldn’t be sent their way at this point as they are clearly a rogue program.
October 23, 2009 at 5:05 am #805175pedrocalderonMemberI guess there is some comfort in numbers, and common sufferings. I am a realist, and do know I have not sent new players for a long time.
Up until the end of Q2, I was able to see the huge amount of activity the players sent were doing, and believe me, they were big money makers for them for the entire 3 years, just as they were before the titanic sank.
The stats stopped recording any activity at the end of Q2, so when they told me they would combine Q2 and Q3, it was just a laugh because they had diverted my players anyway, so there has been no activity. Funny, I can still login and see all this.
Anyway, I guess residual income for life and all that stuff is only for a time. I really expected this group to shut down after September 06. so it has been a good thing up till now. Even though they shut me off, I still think well of them.
October 26, 2009 at 3:27 pm #805232AnonymousInactiveI’ve never gotten any money from them.
I used to send them a lot of traffic and I just never seemed to be able to earn a commission from them, much less collect it!
Oy!
November 6, 2009 at 9:06 pm #805584pedrocalderonMemberI have been emailing back and forth with VIP Profits over the past 2 days, and they have found some simple clerical errors that caused all this. it is still a mystery as to why they did not receive my earlier emails but it might just be an issue with my internet connection or something.
They have informed me that my payments are being ordered right now, so I am very happy. I will only post one more time when these missing payments arrive. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the discussion.
I now believe VIP is owned by people who are honest and that care about the affiliates. They also informed me that their site is fully operational and the affiliate program is working again as well, after a lot of technical work and programming.
November 16, 2009 at 5:00 pm #805862pedrocalderonMemberAt this time I have finally received all of my back payments mentioned in the posts within this thread. The VIP Profits owners and managers have redeemed themselves in my eyes totally.
Many thanks to all the owners and staff at VIP Profits for being honest and coming through. I was wrong in many of my assumptions, and for that I apologize. They told me they were up and running and indeed, the site if fully functional again.
Now I can concentrate on other things again. I hope you all have a great day!
