Here are the facts as they relate to this matter:
– An upgrade was performed on Vicsbingo in early January which caused our keno game to malfunction. The same upgrade WAS NOT performed on any of our other sites.
– While this was investigated, all accounts that were affected were disabled.
– Jon Daley then emailed every player affected to inform them that due to the malfunction their winnings on keno would be voided and many would receive their deposit back. Many players had already received cashouts from VicsBingo in the 3 months that the malfunction was occurring.
– The player most mentioned on these BingoPlayersUnion posts – Mrs. Knowles username Foo – was contacted by Jon Daley and after some email correspondence agreed to a $1,500 refund to her Neteller account and she would be finished with this matter. This was completed on April 17.
Any game malfunction in Las Vegas casinos (or anywhere else) voids any wins. We have been paying out wins for such a long period due to the malfunction not being caught in a timely matter, and of course people are going to jump up and down when we turn the tap off.
During this period, some players accounts were disabled and should now be enabled again if that was what was agreed to. If they have not been, we urge these players to contact customer support to get them enabled again.
All Revenue Giants properties pay all winners in a timely fashion, and have done so since 1998.
Cyalater8, your efforts to be a “bingo watchdog” are valiant… and I agree that we need these sites out there. But please remember that there are always two sides to every story. I am unable to trace any instance where you contacted anyone from our organization to get clarification on these matters.
This matter is finished and we will not respond to any more public posts, we are not interested in getting into a slanging match such has already been demonstrated in this thread.

I agree an intro into the newbie section, might have been the way to go but I had no intention of staying on here at CAP! I knew I was going to be banned and thats what I wanted! And I realize that newbies get scrutinized! I guess I have been flaming forums so long! I just don’t think of myself as a newbie, a Flambie maybe, but not a newbie! when I sign up here ,things were relatively peaceful. I decided CAP needed some trouble, so I figured lets attack one of their more respected affiliate partners!
You all need to understand that I’m not at all confused here by my posts being moved from here to Revenue Giants, that back here. Im just delighted I was able to flame for as long as I have been without being booted out by the Professor. I bet he must be sleeping. Tee Hee! I am posting this crap late at night! Sorry Rgscott, but since we were moved from your forum, it appeared to us that you chose not to be involve in this issue. I have noted your response.
Dominique! Lets just agree the we disagree with bingo related issues and let it go at that! Admin here said I need to respect you because you are a moderator. Consider that done! But after you flamed me in another post you went on to say:
Quote:Cyalator, you now have established contact with people who are willing and able to help.Courtesy would have you move on to private talks and problem resolution, if you are actually interested in resolving the issue.
It seems to me that this is no longer my issue, (it never has been anything but a player issue) but also an affiliate issue. Rgscott wrote:
Quote:As I said, we will get back to you with a response as soon as possible. I do understand that affiliates are concerned about this matterSorry Dominique, but this issue has gone too far to go behind the closed doors of my empty mind. If anything I would feel a discourtesy to my fellow affiliates if I moved on to private talks! But I thank you for reminding of my interests in this matter.
May 2, 2006 at 5:25 am #690698AnonymousInactiveseems RGscott and myself were posting at the same time.
RG said:Quote:I am unable to trace any instance where you contacted anyone from our organization to get clarification on these matters.I have emails to both Marco and Roo that I sent out and when I got no reply from Marco, on this issue, I emailed Roo and he did reply. If you are calling me out on this I will post them! Cuz that is bull! I’ll give you time to check this out, but by days end I will produce them!
RG wrote:Quote:This matter is finished and we will not respond to any more public posts.must be nice to think you have all that power to snap your fingers and think this will go away! The only thing new in your statement is the fact that you repeated what was already said.
where is your documented proof of this malfunction? Because if you are relying on your sites creditability with a lot of unhappy players, you have none. If this matter is indeed finished in this forum, than perhaps the time has come to take up the issue in yet another forum.
every time a player enters your site and makes a wager you take their money. If a player said I think your game had a malfunction and didn’t pay out, therefore all my bets are void,, you would laugh at them. Like you sites say all the time: It’s gambling Is this gambling concept a one way deal? Players gamble! But sites can declare a malfunction? So it’s not a gamble for sites? For what ever reason! Vic’s gambled their keno game and lost! Time to honor your winners and accept your loses. You would not be the first site to do this.
I can promise you this issue will not be resolved until player satisfaction is achieved.

You do yourself a dis-service by continuing to “take potshots” at people at the same time that you’re trying to deal with a bigger issue. (even if you have been shot at yourself)Let the personal asides go – be bigger than that – and you’d find that you’d get better traction on the thing that you REALLY want to sort out.
:huh:If you REALLY you need the last word … then say it out loud don’t type it …
You’ll feel better and won’t distract us ..
:p
ONTO THE MAIN ISSUEHaving read this through (ignoring the slanging) and just looking at the bingo malfunction / payout issue … here my two cents on the porblems and the response.
1) The “malfunction” seemed to occur for weeks (months?).
QUESTIONS
a) When was the problem noticed?
b) When was the game suspended?
c) Why was it NOT tested correctly before being released to the public? This basically seems to a case of ignorance, incompetance or ineptitude in releasing an untested game in to the market.
2) It only occured at Vic’s Bingo .QUESTIONS
a) Why did only Vic’s bingo have an upgrade to licensed software?
b) Is there an auditable paper trail of update – problem identification and fix.
c) is there documentation spelling out an error in the RNG (or somesuch)Even so – even if there is – it’s still an error on the software providers part – and someone should be covered by professional liability insurance …
or … if not ….
3) Not all Keno game / all customers were affected by this error.QUESTIONS :
How do you tell what was a legitimate win – and a legitimate loss?
Are you refunding all Keno losses back to all players for the same period ?And most importantly … What is the total amount in dispute?
While any amount is significant to players – and should be collected – are RG in danger of holding onto this dispute that is significantly damaging to their reputation?
How much money do RG spend on advertising?
4) It’s not over until everyone is satisfied. This is a key point Scott.
Dictatorships went out with Julius Caesar.
Everyone needs goodwill – and there should be a feeling of a resolution.Saying that you’re not going to talk about it any more – well ..
I think that we should find a better way that suits everyone.
(or nearly everyone – because there will always be one plonker somewhere)
:withstupi
A SUGGESTION
Is it really worth the casino fighting over?Someone’s goofed up. And let a poor program onto the market.
You’ve now got winners who THINK they’ve been cheated out of cash.
That can NEVER be good – even if you’re right …Without knowing the totals it seems to me that this dispute will cause a whispering campaign that could dwarf any goodwill gained by advertising or affiliate promotion …
So what are we talking about? 5K, 10K .. 100K ??
If you’re arguing about $10,000 or so …
Just pay it out !!!
:bouncer:By simply paying out (while not acknowledging any liability of course) RG and the software provider can turn a PR nightmare into a PR plaudit.
Is there a simple solution ?
We’re watching ….

We have been paying out wins for such a long period due to the malfunction not being caught in a timely matter, and of course people are going to jump up and down when we turn the tap off.Wait a second now.. we’re not talking about any game in Vegas, or any game anywhere else.. We’re talking about Vic’s bingo. And we’re not talking about the wins decreasing, looks to me like we’re talking about wins disapearing from accounts, and payouts not being received. That’s a big deal.
Again I ask, what does the Vic’s bingo agreement (the one where you have to click yes to agree to blah blah blah while registering an account) say about such an occurance?
And I am also very curious about the span of time that lapsed.. I’d also like to know how long the game malfunctioned before the error was found. If during 10 minutes or so 100 players won because all of a sudden all of the numbers were called, I’d call this a malfunction. If the games were set to pay out to much.. well that’s just your problem.. I don’t begin to understand how these things work, or I’d be designing them somewhere, so you’ll have to explain in dummy language, what was the malfunction? Why did it happen, and for how long?
If the player afore mentioned settled, then we’ll chalk her up as a happy customer. However, I’m not satisfied with her being the end of discussion, as she reached a resolution, are their players left that have not settled?

May 2, 2006 at 10:43 am #690709vladcizsolMemberCyalater I see you put a lot of forethought into choosing your board name here. You knew the whole purpose of your brief visit to CAP here was basically a self promoting drive by where you would materialize, stir up controversy, incite people, paint yourself as a defender of the little people and then be subsequently banned for your behavior.
You ride off into the sunset as a Martyr, right? Well we have seen your beligerent type before and you were correct in one thing, you are being shown the door (something you are used to and desiring)
The only problem with this plot is I am also going to archive your thread so other then work up a little adrenaline all you have accomplished is to waste a little of everyones iTime.
Cya later Asshole… :dafingers
Oh and by the way… No Back Links for you either butt head. Links and Sigs are being removed. We might just insert a little editorial content into your posts to clarify your objectives too… Aw Shucks!
