Who do you think is going to win and by how many votes?
October 29, 2012 at 3:09 pm #829380CasinoGemMemberobama, landslide
I actually think its the mormon vote thats killing romney, that combined with his conviction which if you read into mormon beliefs they are not confrontational in their religion so that he is even contridicting himeslf.
a man with alot of money that chose a religion , that doesn’t pay taxes,
he losses by a landslide
October 29, 2012 at 3:23 pm #829381fergy58MemberHonestly think this is going to be a close one. The HuffPost has Obama at 47.2% and Romney at 47.4% as of an hour ago.
October 29, 2012 at 3:58 pm #829383webmasteryanMemberRomney by 1 million votes
October 29, 2012 at 4:48 pm #829385AnonymousInactiveRomney by a jimmy carter landslide.. WTF doesn’t pay his taxes casinodude? He paid more taxes in one year that i hope to make in 20…
seriously where do people get this info from? Better to question how Joe I never had a job in my life is a millionaire on at 180K a year job?
October 29, 2012 at 5:20 pm #829386AnonymousInactiveWithout calling Romney a politician that sways whatever way the wind blows (and I ain’t talking Sandy), it’s looks like a close call – but hopefully Obama pulls it off with more than a 2 million vote lead. But we’ll have to wait and see the final result until after the recount.
PS I hope there are no more Bush governors left able to swing states toward the GOP

Yes, I know. We’ve been working hard to get it back on it’s economic feet after a worldwide crisis at the end of the last Republican administration. One more war to go.
No matter who wins, this excessive spending has got to stop!
October 30, 2012 at 10:53 am #829402AnonymousInactiveby joe I assume you mean Biden, he’s hardly a millionaire, not even in the top 50 for congress. As matter of fact I was surprised how little he makes. he paid about 23% in taxes ($87.9K off $379K income)
Romney paid about 14% ($1.95 mil of $13.7 mil income). Romney won’t release any tax returns other than the 2 years required.
When his father (George Romney) ran for pres he released 12 years worth and said that 1 or 2 years could be a fluke or something like that. Obama released 7 years worth in 2008.
Romney has to win Ohio or run the table on most of the swing states to get to 270. Could be that he wins the popular vote but falls short on the 270 electorate votes.
Romney is a chameleon. ftr I was calling him a chameleon long before the media. I don’t trust anyone that can’t stick to their guns. While I don’t completely agree with Obama he doesn’t change with the tides.
As far the economy goes, the job losses from the 2008 crisis was about 850K more than the last 6 recessions combined so while the rebound isn’t great had the 2008 recession been economically similar to any of the previous 6 the economy would be in full gear.
btw The Romneys live in the next town over from me.
October 30, 2012 at 11:33 am #829404CasinoGemMemberRomeny has tax avoidation issues , it is a clear part of obamas attack campaign at the start but his campaign wask by legal advice asked to stop attacking the issue. He avoided tax evasion issues, even used his religion in some respects with avoiding paying tax

IT was an attack at the start of the Obama attack team , but felt short after legal issues , letterman continued on with it in any case until he was approached to addressing issues of romney not paying tax.
He has tax evasion issues to his name,
October 30, 2012 at 11:36 am #829406jackcksnMemberHello,
the results of polls in Germany are 92% Obama and 4% Romney. Since George W. Bush the reputation in Germany of the Republicans is reduced nearly to zero.

Exactly my reason for turning Democrat after 40 years!

He pays taxes twice – once when its income and a second time when its interest income – nothing but political spin to sway people who are easily swayed.
I hope some how that Romney pulls this off, but I think with the system as crooked as it is that Obama will win it and that he will try to get us closer to the American he wants to see (2016 movie – the truth about Obama!)
October 31, 2012 at 12:49 pm #829446voodoomanMemberFor the sake of the US and the rest of the world I hope that Obama wins again. It’s gonna take a while to sort Bush’s crap out.
I think most current politicians are atheists who pretend to believe in God just to appease the ignorant masses.
