I’ve been extemely annoyed lately by some RTG casinos not including the uninstall feature with the download. I believe this is unethical behavior, since anyone should be able to remove software they no longer want on their computer!
I’ve decided to “boycott” the casinos that do not include the “uninstall feature” with the download, and hope others will as well.
Do Gambling Wages casinos still include the uninstall feature with the download?

I hardly call this a valid reason to boycott from promoting VIP.com casino. If RTG casinos dropped spyware, adware etc… then this could be a valid reason, but they do not.

I have to disagree with that. Lately, in order to remove RTG casinos, I have to first delete the casino folder from the “program files” folder. Then open a command prompt and type “regedit”. Then delete the Realtime Gaming folder from the registry.
Do you call that easy?
September 26, 2006 at 9:50 pm #707476AnonymousGuestagree whole-heartedly.
its hard enough to come off as being legit with all we’re already up against without this newest wrinkle.
these kind of practices are exactly what keep me from promoting the bulk of RTG casinos.
September 29, 2006 at 3:42 pm #707877AnonymousInactiveimho, affiliates should promote the casinos that convert best for them, regardless (not) having uninstall option.
The VIP.com Casino is doing great (converting AND retaining) for those Casino affiliates that are promoting it accordingly. Also, the steps that Simon explained are indeed the ones required to uninstall the VIP.com Casino.
Generally, players are not concerned with this and sign up at the casino they think is the best choice and stay with the casino they enjoy playing at; THIS is where the focus of promoting a casino should be, BUT I agree that it’s important to notify players in advance.
Still, I believe it’s best to put the focus on getting the player IN.Amateur, are you promoting VIP.com Casino?
If not having an easy uninstall option is the reason to not promote our casino, then that’s your parogative (I know “prerogative”), but I wouldn’t understand it.Thanks
