The new French online gambling laws are allegedly in effect as of yesterday, but there’s still a great deal of uncertainty about just what companies will be allowed to do business in the Western European nation, which is among the world’s largest online gambling markets. Read more here.
Given that these laws are somewhat nebulous and controversial, I can’t see them being strictly enforced. Sounds like the same struggles that UIGEA has faced, but on the legalization end.
