Ok has anyone but me noticed that there is this attemt to sorta throw everything on rumfeld all of a sudden?
I think its a very sorry attempt and americans should focus on how the gop is so fucked up!November 9, 2006 at 12:53 pm #715066vladcizsolMemberOf course there will have to be a few scape goats to deflect attention from the real scoundrels.
You could see they were seasoning up Rummy in the media they control (Fox, CNN, Military Publications) over the last few weeks in anticipation of this.

November 9, 2006 at 3:31 pm #715101vladcizsolMemberNah, Cheney is in Charge.
They would find other sacrificial lambs before he would ever face any real threat of expulsion.
November 9, 2006 at 6:08 pm #715148AnonymousInactiveThere’s also the little matter of not being able to just fire the VP. The Senate would have to impeach him and then remove him, probably not worth the effort with only 2 years left.

No matter what I just hope the dems can keep a grip for the next 2 years. I think the REP party will try some nasty stuff in the next few years to get the vote back on their side for sure.

We all get caught up in our own little world these days and have forgotten what the world is really about. We have to think globally and work together if we are to stop wars than don’t need to start in the first place.

An impeachment would have to remove both of the bozos, then Pelosi would be President. All pretty much a dream at this point. You can expect the Congress to assert their oversite power however and render the White House useless.
