I have no idea what her beef is with me because I have never done anything but help that lady out with money and sending her traffic etc If she continues to attack me I will be going off on her! I don’t have to nor do I need to take that abuse from anyone and not defend myself. I am posting here to calm down and not post public:cuss:

I know what you mean. That is totally uncalled for and it’s like she is taking it way to personal. It’s to bad that it had to happen and you handled it very well. I hope that she drops it.

I saw this thread early in the morning before the one you are talking about, so I don’t know what in particular pixxed you off, but – whatever she said, I am sure it’s not important enough to get all upset.
I did see some start ups of combativeness yesterday and I think she is out of sorts because she feels betrayed by the folks at grand prive – made the most $ with them, felt they were friends, and now got dumped. Her agression is misdirected, and best left ignored and she’ll simmer down.
Guys, aff managers can be nice or fun or efficient or all three of these and then some, but they are not our friends, they are trained in befriending us so they can get the best exposure and if they didn’t have the job or the objective, they could care less in most cases. Very often affs who get royally pixxed are ones who really believed they had made a close friend and ally in the industry and came to realize that it’s just business afterall..
If she does contnue I’ll talk to her.
As mods, we really can’t get in pixxing matches here, it’s a professional board. I bit my tongue off a zillion times… we can argue all we like on player boards and such, but on a professional board it belongs in the freeforall or politics sections.
So, don’t let it get under your skin. It’s just not worth it…
I have made an effort to overlook alot of stuff and try not to take it personal. I’m definately glad that nick and stupid have left me alone. LOL Please feel free to PM me if I get carried away as I do want to be as professional as possible. :hattip:
Thanks girls that is why I posted here because I know that first she is not herself because of this and second I have to remain calm and professional. Thanks Robin for noticing how well I remained calm because it was not easy..lol
Oh and just wanted to add that I personally have made a few strong solid friendships from affiliate managers and I have actually traveled to stay with them on my own dime. I don’t promote their brands any longer because of the friendship and we never talk business to each other. So I have to disagree on that part. But I do agree that most of them will tell you what they think you want to hear and they are not got be confused for friends ever, they have a job to do and that is the bottom line. I do know that Irwin was not responsible in this case and I don’t consider him a friend, he is just a nice guy in a bad situation. I hope Pat has learned from this and guards herself against this sort of confusion in the future.

I agree 100%. She is still fairly new at the game as it relates to dealing with a wide range of AM’s. I have closer relationships then others.
Like Neil (theMitchelBoy) he is cool as heck and was one to help get me paid by CPays (wire is processing) and I trust him more than I would others that I’ve hung out with for years and we’ve never met in person yet, but will in London.
I know how it feels to want to correct someone and I really have to not get irrate in public over it when they don’t atleast try to see what I’m saying. LMAO

Sometimes I get so mad I have to leave the computer for an hour or two or over night to get my brain clear lol. Some people can be super aggravating.
The thing is, once I am out of the conversation and coming back fresh, I realize how insignificant the thing was and how it really isn’t an important thing in my life. In a week no one will remember it. There are a lot more important things to worry about.
I guess over the years I have learned to pick my battles. If no one will remember it in a few days, it’s totally not worth the aggravation.
Re. friends – I am good friends with an ex-aff manager, he is not in the biz anymore so business doesn’t enter things at all. But, the majority are just well trained sales people.
That doesn’t mean one can’t have fun relationships with them, it just means one can’t attach oneself like Pat did. The sentence “he prayed with me” kind of showed me they had stepped over the line, for a lot of people that is about as intimate as you can get.
Anyway, Pat felt badly hurt and betrayed, and you walked into her path of fire and caught a bullet. Could have happened to any of us – and has. And will again. It’s not personal…

Yeah I am over it, like Dom said she has to be out of sorts about Grand Prive and stuff so I am not bothering with it and have forgot all about it. It was in the GP thread Lou. Glad to see you back I thought you had to be really ill or something.
My IT Guys here in Orlando handed me a new laptop that was supposedly fully set up and it wasnt so I was virtually blind to internet from Weds to late last night. I got brief glimpses when I jumped on someone elses PC for a minute here or there but that was it.
