Justice Thayne Forbes ruled today that Fergal Lynch, and six-time British champion jockey Kieren Fallon will go on trial at the Old Bailey in London on September 24 of next year.
Fallon was one of 11 people charged by police in July as part of Britain’s biggest race-fixing investigation. Known as “Operation Crypton,” Brittish authorities collected information on a group of racing identities for several months.
Fallon has denied all charges and is banned from racing in Britain. He has however competed in Ireland, Australia and France since being charged.
Fallon was suspended for 10 race meetings for careless riding while in Australia. Last month in France, he was banned for six months after testing positive for cocaine.
