Hello,
I am rather new and was wondering what is a good way to get traffic and what doesn’t work at all?
I use link exchange, I have a program called traffic blazer. I use signatures in posts on every site and mail. I have bought traffic several times from different merchants. I have tried thoose clicking programs (I click a site and they show my site, wich I think is not very helpfull to get good traffic).
Please tell me what works and what not. And I know that most don’t wanna give away the secret of getting good traffic, but at least tell me what doesn’t work, PLEASE :tooconfus

Besides that if you promote the not recommended casinos they may not come back at all.
Visit casinomeister and spot them, it helps.
My experience is write texts for visitors not search engines, it will give a better ranking.
I am not spending too much time on linkexchange just a few per week.

I think the best traffic you can get is from search engines, good quality content that surfers are searching for will provide you with some of this traffic. You dont need 100 page website. You will need to work on SEO to better your rankings on search engines.
Another way is opt-in email marketing.

August 5, 2008 at 11:34 am #774678MissMMemberI see that it’s important.
But what about link exchange, is this really that important for higher page ranking?
August 5, 2008 at 1:02 pm #774688AnonymousInactiveI’m not sure 100%, that link exchange is very important. Currently I don’t do any link exchanges, because I think it’s not more important than adding new content. I prefer to spend my time on my content.

August 5, 2008 at 1:46 pm #774698AnonymousInactiveSEO is the key. It will take some time, but well worth it. You do not need a large site, you just need to optimize each and every page for your keyword terms.
Narrow your focus down and get as much relevant content as possible (without copying or rewording it from another site). If you are in need of content and can’t afford to pay someone then ask a few affiliate mangers to get you some.
Read the Google webmaster forum for information to be sure that you are following all of their rules. Find a SEO tutorial site and then get a tool to help with SEO and pay attention to the keyword density and use clean code on your site.
I’ve never participated in link exchanges or bought any traffic.

are you refering to “pagerank” as in a pr of 2 or serps (search engine result pages)?
good content will get your site near the top of the result pages with pr of only 2, most of the time link exchanges do zip for traffic or get worthless traffic, unless your link/banner is placed front and center on a highly visited page that is related to your web site.
Most the time webmasters bury links. I never exchange with sites that bury links several pages deep. My rule of thumb when exchanging links:
if I can’t find it neither will a visitor.
write articles, game reviews and think keywords, I always try and work certain words in my reviews/articles, but make it appear naturally in the text ie.. bonus slot, slot game, win, coin, credits, in my article on slot percentages I uses both payback and payout. Some search for payback percentages and others search for payout percentages.
My site is a slots site, won’t find much mention of poker in it. My visitors want slot info.
Cheers,
