Hi All,
Newbie corner seemed like a good place to post my first message…. just wanted to say hi and to introduce myself.
I’m from the UK and just setting up as an affiliate. I have just come back from a working holiday in Canada where I worked directly for a Sportsbook, and got a bit of a insight into the world of affiliate marketing, so I thought I would give it a go myself.
Just a couple of questions for now, but I am sure that I will have loads more in the future:
Do most of you do this as your main income, or something you do in your spare time?
Where do you tend to target, UK, US…?Anyway this looks like a great board – hope to learn a lot and meet new people!

Unless you have some other source of income so that you can focus on it full time. It starts as a hobby or spare time then if it picks up you can go full time… Dont expect fast results, keep at it.. Write good content, get good links with anchor text and you should do just fine..

Most people start out part time, and the ones who are willing to put in the time and effort, eventually go full time.
I have been full time for several years now, and I wouldn’t swap it for anything else.
