Hi,
with gas prices going sky-high I thought I’d share something with you that I discovered to have excellent benefits for my older Camaro, so I don’t know if it will be as much help to newer cars but I’m sure it would be worth your trying it once.
*if anybody knows any reason why you shouldn’t use this then please enlighten me.
I’ve been adding 1 bottle of “octane boost” which you can buy at walmart or probably any car store, to every tank of gas.
the cheapest bottle is about $2 and I’ve found it works as good as the higher priced bottles, I get better performance and to my surprise, much better gas mileage.
I’ve not crunched to numbers, but I’m pretty sure I come out ahead of the game by adding the $2 octane boost to every tank.
and performance is so much better.
