    OK …

It doesn’t look like he’s copied your whole site – simply the layout from the front page – as none of the links to other pages seem to work.

I’m not sure that you’ve got much of a case to get him shut down though …

    – he/she appears to have changed the layout sizes and styles a bit (possibly because he didn’t know enough to steal your CSS layouts? :D )

    – he/she appears to have changed content as well – although it’s obvious to recognise where it’s inspired from.

I can obviously see where it’s inspired from – but – I’m not convinced that you can “bust his arse” over anything there …

I mean Leonardo painted the Mona Lisa – but that doesn’t mean that all subsequent female portraits are breaking a copyright …

Perhaps more legally experienced affiliates can tell us ?

Looks pretty much the same to me.

Would look pretty much the same to visitors.

I have seen similair templates before though.

The site is ripped and content stolen. Not permissible by the search engines.

I have updated my site a few times since he stolen it. I had that content in february or march. He left the linking structure to the casinos intact and even some of my aff code to casinos are there as my copyright notice on this page: http://www.itgambling.com/videopoker.htm. And every link on this page pointing to my site. :Bong:

And it probably look same to the search engines too. :madat:
This site isn’t template based. It’s my creation. I can prove how it evolved over 2 years. If you saw similar tamplates, well they maybe either my other sites or other webmasters stealing my design.

I agree, I noticed the theft in the source code of the two sites. The same thing happenned to cap not too long ago. I would pay a visit to prelinger archive if the site is aged enough. I would also contact the person in charge of this site in a polite manner and explain the sitiuation.

It deemed as a mirrored site the SE will maybe take of the newer site automatically.
I would suggest taking quick action, the options are many. greek39

    Thanks Greek.
I’ve let the affiliate managers of the programs that are involved in this, know about it. Casino Partners were the first to taken care of him. Kudos to them for protecting the work of their affiliates.
I wonder which program will do nothing about it or say content theft is ok if it does any good to their bottom line.
