I have been using blogspot 3 months , they have settings with displays up to 30 days I think .If you run a blog you will know 30 days is more than enough data to keep there and it is always fresh data and fresh links to your website.Google also owns it and your blog gets picked up very fast.

i guess you mean the first page/home page of your blogspot site shows your recent posts in last 30 days ?
