We are one of those “new” affiliates. At least in so much as we have single digit real money sign ups to date with Referback. Regardless of this we felt it necessary to have our vote counted and of course voted to keep our players for life. I can’t imagine a player deciding not to play for 6 months, then deciding to sign up for a totally new account at a casino they have played before. Maybe a bonus chaser, but those aren’t very profitable people anyway.
Keep the T&Cs as they were.
August 24, 2005 at 7:52 pm #671617AnonymousGuestThey know they’ll still play under the same account, but they won’t have to pay the original affiliate.
I have to agree with this statement whole-heartedly. It is commonly known that Microgaming casinos are sticklers for ONLY opening one account. I once had Riverbelle freeze my (second) account with a whopping $7 in it because I had forgotten I had signed up before, … but lucky for me I had stipulated I didn’t want anything to do with a bonus.
the point being, that the chased me down and froze my account WITHOUT my even being a bonus abuser – a whopping $7 I remind you.
so I highly doubt that they’d now let me get away with opening another account just because its been 6 months since I played there.
………….
I just have one question at this point; does RB have stockholders? and ifso; are they aware of this situation? this is just business suicide to flirt with such disaster when you’ve already nearly changed everything back to the way it was … (I think that’s correct – at this point, I don’t know who is suppose to be on the warning list and who isn’t; but NOW I’m going to err to the side of staying on the list since I was forced to go to all the trouble of putting it up)
this whole deal has been one GIANT fiasco right out of the gate.
At this point RB; I think its safe to say you are going to have damage that is undoable; but its nothing to what is coming…
again I say to you, why do we all need to lose? DO THE RIGHT THING.
August 24, 2005 at 8:09 pm #671621AnonymousInactiveHow insulting is that poll that addresses only one issue out of many. What a joke. After all my hard work and advertising costs to see them pull this arrogant big corporate bully bullshit. I can’t wait to crack a bottle of Champagne the day they go out of business.
August 24, 2005 at 9:01 pm #671624AnonymousInactivePoll Shmoll…you should be ashamed of yourselves for pulling such a lame stunt like this. I see no logical reason to even have implemented this except to just stall and play head games. That is a red flag for any business…
August 24, 2005 at 10:07 pm #671631AnonymousInactiveSince all of the threads about RB are running I ask myself why RB dislike to come back to their old terms.
The only explanation I´m able to find at this time is, they know there´s something going wrong with their business/company or they are living beyond their means and won´t drive one but two Ferarris. However, I´ve the feeling they are forced to rake in money money money in short time as there (maybe) will come a big bang within next time. Who knows – only seen from another standpoint.
So – doesn´t matter what happens the next few days – I´ve decided to stop promoting RB. I´ve taken much time to read all this threads about this. I´ve taken time to say my opinions about that.
In the same time I´m able to sign up with other – correct and fair – affiliate programs to earn money with them TOGETHER. And I have to say a big THANK YOU to RB: The next aff. program which is changing terms and conditions in this manner will be banned immediatly from my domains – without waiting for perceive on behalf of an affiliate program´s team, manager or whatever. That´s what I´ve learned.
I´m sure, at the end are only a few correct and fair affiliate programs and these programs are the winners at least. And as I´d like to be a winner too I´d like to work together with these programs and not with egoists which only take care about their own moneybags without regard to their affiliates.
Thanks a lot to this community to give me the opportunity to say what I´m thinking and meaning about this.
Subject definitly closed for me.
Regards Tom
August 24, 2005 at 11:12 pm #671635AnonymousInactiveI can’t believe this 16% voted to SHOOT THEMSELVES IN THE FOOT !
Can we say FIXED ??? or do some people just love to inflict pain to
:banger: themselves ???
We’d like your input and we’d like you to vote: Do you prefer Option A or Option B
16% chose Option A and prefer to Lapse players after 6 months of inactivity
84% chose Option B and prefer not to Lapse players after 6 months of inactivity
August 24, 2005 at 11:20 pm #671636AnonymousInactiveThey would look even more stupid than they all ready do if the vote was 100% for option B so this way it looks more acceptable to them I doubt the vote will change much from the current %.
By the end of the week they will say “hey we listened to you and will revert this clause to how it used to be”
By then they will have so few affiliates left the vote will be even more pointless than it is already.
But they dont want affiliates no more a one eyed donkey could see their aim.
August 24, 2005 at 11:25 pm #671637AnonymousInactiveNO ONE is that stupid … that poll is just another way of making fun of
hard working affiliates. :cuss: :cuss: :cuss:
August 24, 2005 at 11:31 pm #671639AnonymousInactiveFuck Referback they suck!
August 24, 2005 at 11:32 pm #671640AnonymousInactiveDid the captain say they suck?
August 25, 2005 at 12:57 am #671648AnonymousInactiveIf that 16% is for real, then there are likely some people following this board that voted to loose their players after 6 months. How about one of you 16 percenters speaking up?
August 25, 2005 at 1:09 am #671650AnonymousInactiveWell … i’m new to Casinos … but … base on these threads …
I’ll stick by the will of the forum by never having anything to do with REFERBACK … although I know that it’s not much of a sacrifice as I had no investment in them.
However, I’d suggest that all new potential affiliates will feel the same way … especially if you can keep the feedback strong in arguments too …
It’s OK to vent your spleen … but remember that a lot of people will not read every page went visiting a new thread … so if you think that they suck … (or perhaps a word that rhymes with suck starting with f… ) .. then do not forget to include a short sentence stating exactly why …
Keep up the good work guys …
:hithead:August 25, 2005 at 1:20 am #671652AnonymousInactiveI agree.
The nice thing about threads like this… It allows me to NEVER make the mistake of representing RB casinos.
I hope all others who are not affiliates stay away as well. I can find other ways to get screwed… all by myself
kw
PS – maybe if more newbies speak up against these practices, they may see that this error will hurt them with their future affiliates as well as their current.

BradAugust 25, 2005 at 2:40 am #671660vladcizsolMemberIn the “I cant believe they think we are that stupid” race they are now claiming 19% of people voted to give away their Players.
This is shameful.
Referback you really went out of your way to alienate your affiliates AGAIN!!!
Even I am begining to lose patience and wonder why you are wasting all our time with these games.
