We have reviewed the impact of the recent rule change over the past two months, and have decided to revert to the commission formula as existed prior to the July 1 change.
We have been motivated to do this in the interests of maintaining our good relations with the Affiliate community. At the end of the day, relationship benefits are the most important to us.
This switch back will be effective September 1st, 2005.
Throughout these recent conversations, it is clear that some Affiliates are still concerned about the impact that winners can have on their earnings (ie. within one of our brands). We are therefore developing a new model that will be offered as an option to all existing Affiliates along the following principles:
• Participating Affiliates will be paid 0.6% of their players’ total wagering
• NO COSTS will be deducted e.g. comps or progressive contributions
• NO DOWNSIDE. If your player plays, then you must earn. There will be no such phenomenon as negative earningsNote that due to this model still being in the development stages, the above information is a sneak preview only and not absolutely finalized.
As regards any changes we may introduce in future, you can rest assured that new conditions will not be applied to existing players without your buy-in.
As you can see, we have your best interests at heart, as always, and will continue to give you the benefits that make Fortune Affiliates one of the most competitive in the market. With casino clients that have proven to have the best offers, conversion, retention and support.

Whilst I welcome the reversal of the punitive T & C’s you imposed on us back in July – can you give a solid commitment on CAP here in this thread, that you will not try and pull the same stunt 6 months down the line.
Unfortunately our trust has been broken caused by your actions ( FA ) a few months ago and from my point of view it is a case of once bitten twice shy.
Whilst I am happy to remove your casinos from my rogue listings, until you can give a commitment to not pull the same stunt 6 months down the road, I will be unable to promote FA casinos again.

David,
Sorry missed this. In that case I will happily start promoting Fortune Affiliate Casinos again. Many many thanks for sorting this out.

Welcome back

I have always treated Slotland especially nice because they pay a flat percentage of deposit.
This sort of deal is an idea worth pursuing.

Yes. I think its a great idea. Up til now I was tempted to aim at slots player promotions but this means i can focus more on table games and video poker where turnover is greater. Like the sound of it a lot.
