Don’t bust on Ted he has been a good friend to our business, I have also carried the ball some times, but it is ok to pass the ball to others.

I did say, however, that the recent issues were the last stand I would take on affiliate issues, particularly because I am not very active in affiliate promotion any more, and that’s why it’s time for some other people to stand up and carry the ball.
Dom is one of those people doing that, as well as Professor. A lot of others, like Islandmaan, Antoine, Krystal for example (and everyone I left out because I just woke up and can’t think straight yet) are old hands and very experienced in dealing with affiliate managers and programs as well.
There are a few newbies (relatively speaking) that have really shown huge potential and maturity in this business and will almost surely play a role in shaping this community over the coming years. I’m not going to name them because there are a few of them, and because I don’t want anyone to feel left out, and because most of you can already figure out who I am referring to.
And there are others elsewhere that prefer to stay silent because they either don’t want to risk their relations, or can’t be bothered, or just think that others will carry the ball for them. Some of them are amongst the biggest affiliates in the business.
It’s time for them to stand up for themselves.
I have been a very vocal and active affiliate for five years and it’s been a great pleasure to know many of you and I will continue to see you at other events – but I am withdrawing from the front line, at least for a while
