Fortune Affiliates has been listening to the concerns of the Affiliates regarding the recent changes to our T&C’s . We would like the Affiliate community to know that we are busy working on new options that we feel the Affiliate community will welcome. We believe that the offering of multiple models will address both Affiliate concerns and our economics.
The new models that we are hoping to offer, take time to develop. We are hoping to unveil these new models as soon as possible.
I know that some Affiliates have said that we should move back to our old Affiliate model while we are working on this – this is not feasible due to the complexities of our Affiliate system and will add to the confusion once we offer further models.
Please take this post in good faith that we are listening and doing everything in our power (like offering multiple models) to address your concerns. These new options will be available soon.
Regards
David
August 31, 2005 at 3:16 pm #672070AnonymousInactiveIf they are anything like the “new” multiple options at referback, don’t bother. They used some of the same language stating that everything was new and great. I may have a few dated business beliefs, but one I am stuck on is show me, don’t tell me.
August 31, 2005 at 4:28 pm #672077AnonymousInactiveOptions are fine. It can’t hurt to have lots of options – as long as one opts in.
The original contract needs to be honored though, and from that base one can opt into other things and accept changes. That would be fine.
As long as the original contract people have already signed up under remains in force, new people can easily sign under a different contract, and all people can choose options they like.
The important part is that there be no breach, no going back on already signed contracts. This is important so we can preserve the integrity of the industry.
New conditions going forth and new options are just fine.
August 31, 2005 at 5:19 pm #672082AnonymousInactiveThat is the most generic :bullshit: post I’ve ever read (if you exclude all the FA/RB responses to the T/C changes). They are working on new options but can’t tell us what they are, they will take time to develope but don’t have a timeframe to reference, they can’t go back to the old terms while they work on it cause they don’t want to add to the confusion but you notice they were perfectly content to sit back and watch all the confusion and anger their actions generated in total silence.
I wasn’t going to the CAC. I absolutely can’t afford it. Now, I can’t afford not to attend. There are questions I want answers to and I don’t want those answers second hand, I don’t want ‘take my word for it, they are working on it’. I want them to look me straight in the eyes when they lie to me.
See you in Vegas.

August 31, 2005 at 5:38 pm #672083AnonymousInactiveMy ? is when will these options be presented?
The timing of this announcement sure seems like “Butter on Vegas” meaning at first glance it seems you are just trying to smooth things over before we all get together in a few weeks!
I could be wrong, but considering the lack of communication over the last few months the post above sure seems shallow !!!!!

QUOTE]I agree with Dominique
the original contract needs to be honored, or how can we trust you in the future.?September 2, 2005 at 12:28 pm #672197AnonymousInactivefortune wrote:Fortune Affiliates has been listening to the concerns of the Affiliates regarding the recent changes to our T&C’s . David,
You are taking a long time to come up with these options. The simple option available is to revert back to your original T & C’s which we signed up under. Anything less and you are breaking our trust. Trust is of paramount importance in this industry. Fortune Affiliates should do well to remember that!
